About Turrist Orationist Ministry
Our community was first found on the 23rd of August 2000. There were about 13 young people when we first formed but it has been 8 years and we have grown to about 100 people and split into teenagers, young adults and families groups. We are so grateful that God has given us the opportunity to grow our faith, develop our character to be like Christ and given the opportunity to share our faith with other young people in this community.
We used to be helped by another youth Catholic Charismatic community that is based in Surabaya, Indonesia namely Heman Salvation Ministry (HSM). Led by Hanjaya and Jane, they have taught us so much about life in a community. They used to help us with all of our seminars and events. We have now grown more mature and in this occasion we would like to thank HSM for all of their effort and hard work in supporting TOM since the beginning.
What We Do
Most of our events are religious. We have cell groups, prayer meetings, seminars and retreats. Although we are focusing on our religious life, we also have fun activities such as team building day, outings, BBQs and recreations! We want to make sure that our life is balanced.
